Silva Gabreta addresses all scientific, social, economic, and cultural factors that influence regional condition of the low-range mountainous environment, with particular focus on the Bohemian Forest – the largest transboundary continuous woodland region in central Europe. Besides natural history and conservation biology of this broad mountainous region, Silva Gabreta particularly encourages multi- or inter-disciplinary submissions with explicit management or policy recommendations. Any comparison with other similar mountainous ecosystems of Europe is welcome.
